Just 15 minutes away from Brighton and 45 minutes from London, immerse yourself in the blooming ancient Sussex woodland with the ultimate weekend retreat to restore, renew and inspire your body and spirit. Indulge in nurturing yoga flows, reconnect with nature, rediscover natural movement and retrace our ancestors’ footsteps with our foraging adventures, surprise your taste buds and unleash your wildest creativity, all the while allowing yourself to slow down in lush glamping accommodations and restore your body in a magical woodland SPA.  

 

This weekend will be a truly rejuvenating rewilding experience guaranteed to fill you up.

  • Two nights stay in a cosy Bell Tent warmed by a wood-burner

Artist. Forager. Newbie climber.

An Italian-French-American digital nomad, Sylvia can usually be found adventuring along the South Downs with her dog, Fennel.  Throughout her journey of reconnection, she has found a passion for foraging and nature. Her decade-long experience in illustration and animation soon shone through, giving birth to Foraged Illustrations: a sustainable and accessible art project to help people deepen their connection with nature while nurturing their creative side. Nala

Natural movement + Lifestyle coach. Rebel Yogi. New Dog Mum.

​With an extensive background in movement and performing arts, Nala began her movement practice over 20 years ago, initially falling in love with movement, giving her access to a meditative state. What felt great in the physical form became the gateway for a deeper emotional and spiritual practice.  Her journey as a student and teacher has evolved throughout the years as she has weaved in learned disciplines from yoga, parkour, dance, breathwork, rehabilitation, nutrition and strength/conditioning. Nala seeks to address the principles of moving efficiently and gracefully across various movement disciplines whilst practising a nature-rich lifestyle.

FOOD & FORAGING

Experience the ultimate rewilding experience by foraging and feasting on produce fresh off the earth. With a passionate Italian/French background, Sylvia has created a mouth-watering menu that will rewild and transform your tastebuds. All the vegetarian food we lovingly create is made from sustainably sourced foraged produce and all the other ingredients are organic and bio-dynamic. Vegan options are also available. Included are: 2 x evening meals 2 x breakfasts 2 x lunches Natural snacks Foraging The weekend will introduce the world of foraging: exploring ancient woodland and discovering the abundance of nutritious and delicious foods sustainably sourced from the land. We take a step closer to reconnection with the land with every footstep, just as our ancestors would.  Alongside expert forager Sylvia, you will learn essential safety tips, how to forage sustainably and understand some of the ancient folklore that is a fundamental part of foraging heritage. In addition, you will find out more about what herbs and edibles can be used for, including how to integrate them into daily life.

MOVEMENT & YOGA

Restore your body with lots of juicy movement sessions that will soothe away tension, invigorate and connect you to self and the land. Yoga: Vinyasa Flows, Somatic Yin and Yoga Nidra  Natural movement: Tree-climbing and mindful forest runs Our sessions are designed with all abilities in mind. We will offer modifications for beginners and advanced; therefore, no previous experience is needed.

WILD SPA

Nestled deep in the heart of the Enchanted glade, the Wild Spa is taking "forest bathing" to another level. Surrounded by ancient woodland, the Wild Spa area is comprised of a traditional wood fired barrel Sauna and Hot tub, Healing mineral bath and Ice Barrel, Undercover fire area, Yoga decking and relaxation space. You will enjoy a relaxing SPA session to nourish your body and lightly dim your emotions after a fulfilling day of yoga, movement and creativity.

CREATIVE ILLUSTRATION

Unleash your inner creativity and get back to the drawing board! In this workshop, you will create your personal Foraged Illustration. No drawing skills are needed; we will guide you step by step in creating a beautiful and unique cut-out illustration. We will then venture into the wild with our designed piece, where your art will be transformed by what you are inspired by within these rich surroundings. This session is a mindful, fun, light-hearted activity encourages us to pay attention to the small things and appreciate the beauty surrounding us. An art print of your favourite picture will be sent to you via mail once the retreat is over as a beautiful reminder of this experience.

ACCOMMODATION

Sleep close to the land, under the Moon and the Stars, while pampering yourself with all the comforts of a luxurious glamping site. You will doze off in the “Canvas Village”, which consists of 4 fully furnished 5m bell tents - each suitable for 3-4 people shared occupancy, with a wood burner to keep toasty, awning, a fully equipped communal kitchen, a dining area, a fire pit and BBQ. Single bed in a bell tent sleeping 3 to 4 people Double bed spot in a bell tent sleeping 3 to 4 people: for kindred spirits, soul mates, besties, and anyone willing to embark on this adventure together and share a comfy and snug double bed.
